What will you do?
- Work independently to advance our preclinical drug discovery cascades and diagnostic assays for patient stratification
- Develop and implement quantitative plate-based assays to characterize small molecule ligands and drive medicinal chemistry campaigns
- Conduct mechanism of action studies to elucidate the modes of ligand interaction and/or mechanisms of action in cell lines
- Design and execute target engagement studies
- Author and approve technical documents and carefully document lab reports
- Work collaboratively with partners to ensure the success of projects.
- Be part of building the Tessellate way of working as part of a small and growing team.
Your ideal skills and experience
- PhD in Biological Sciences
- Proven ability to independently design, develop and implement biochemical/cellular assays using technologies including but not limited to FRET, HiBIT, CETSA, high content imaging
- Hands on experience with automated liquid handling instrumentation and knowledge of high throughput data analysis workflows is highly desirable
- Understanding of biomarker identification strategies would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present data and goals clearly and accurately
- Strong organisation, planning and problem-solving skills
- Good relationship building
