Deputy Clinical Lead/Clinical Supervisor

Isle of Wight Youth Trust is an independent local charity, working in our local community for over 40 years, delivering confidential, professional counselling, therapeutic and wellbeing services for children and young people. 

As part of our robust clinical and therapeutic practice we are seeking a skilled and experienced clinical supervisor to support a team of qualified counsellors/therapists/practitioners and wellbeing staff compliant with the BACP Ethical Framework

Purpose: Working alongside our Clinical Lead to offer regular clinical supervision as reflective practice sessions to counsellors, and risk management support for children and young people disclosing safeguarding concerns. You will be a joint DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead) and confident to escalate both clinical risk to Tier 3 or emergency mental health crisis services and Safeguarding risks into the MASH Team.

Experience: We are seeking a qualified counsellor, with strong experience in clinical supervision and risk management.

Contract type: Fixed Term – until 31/3/26 

Hours: 10-15 hour per week to be negotiated

Salary: £42,016 FTE (pro-rated)
