Vertex are currently recruiting a Shift Lead Engineer to work at the Riverbank site.
Reporting to the Contract Manager, the candidate will be working as part of the engineering maintenance team. You will provide all round engineering support maintaining the buildings infrastructure. You will have a detailed understanding of all new or current Building Service systems and contingency procedures within the buildings and complying with the Health & Safety/building codes of practice.
Key Responsibilities
•Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
•Take lead on ensuring all PPM tasks are carried out on time.
•Provide reactive and proactive maintenance service.
•Liaise with client/management
•Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines.
•Provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to optimum performance, using data analytical platforms such as Demand Logic.
•Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met.
•Carry out modifications and installations when required.
•Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers.
•Take ownership of tools and equipment provided and ensure they are maintained to an appropriate standard.
The hours of work average 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off rotating shifts between 07:00 - 19:00 and 19:00 - 07:00. However, flexibility is required to complete the duties associated with the role.
