Vertex are currently recruiting a Technical & Compliance Supervisor at Regents Place, within Business Unit 6.
Reporting to the Account Manager you will be working within the Management team and the Site engineers. You will interact with the team and manage all day-to-day activities including weekend works scheduling, uploading compliant documents and SSP reports to OMNI and RFB.
Key Responsibilities
•Operate all systems within the building in a competent and efficient manner.
•Operate and monitor the BMS system.
•Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work
•Completion of PPM and reactive tasks and update the system.
•Ensure that daily tours are completed and repair or report any defects found via the Landlord/Tenant helpdesk.
•Procure and order spares parts.
•Compiling monthly reports
•Maintain and supervise effective site reports
•Comply with both statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.
•Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording of fire and water hygiene records.
•Control of specialist contractors including monitoring of work performance and standards, including internal auditing where applicable
•Ensure that Specialist Service Provider worksheets are signed off that quality of work is inspected, and recommendations followed up.
•Take responsibility for escalating critical incidents and producing and submitting incident reports within the prescribed timescales in conjunction with the Contract Manager
•The Technical Supervisor will ensure that Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are kept to the highest level of housekeeping.
•The Technical Supervisor will be expected to operate, and trouble shoot all building systems
Ideally looking for someone who is currently an engineer or junior supervisor and would be interested in learning something new and be in charge of delivering compliance task and take on this responsibility.
The hours of work average 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 08:00 & 17:00. However, flexibility is required to complete the duties associated with the role. Call-out duty is required.
