Vertex are currently recruiting for a Building Services Data Analytical Engineer to work out at our Riverbank Site.

Reporting to the Contract Manager you will be working within the building maintenance team. You will interact with multiple computer-based systems to Analyse, Assess and Identify Plant and Equipment Faults creating excessive energy use. Manage & carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the Contract Requirements across the Riverbank House site. 

Key Responsibilities

•As a priority, first thing in the morning of every working day, carry out a review of the Demand Logic platform alongside the Building Management System (BMS) and undertake analysis of the baseload energy usage. 

•To identify plant and equipment running outside of normal operating hours, investigate and rectify using the Delta BMS system and physical interaction with local control panels. 

•Interact with all building maintenance systems such as SCADA IGNITION, MX View, SERVICE NOW to combine known issues with reported reactive issues. 

•Create new initiatives and processes using the most recent and up to date technologies to propose to be utilised by the wider team.

•Report to the CM weekly on all known resolved issues, monitoring work streams and outstanding fault repairs.

•Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in accordance with the set schedules, prioritising Statutory Maintenance tasks, issued on Concept/FSI Go via the ‘Handheld’ (tablet) devices issued to you on a ‘Real Time’ basis.

•To ensure engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated engineering systems that are the responsibility of Vertex Ltd

•To ensure onsite Quality Assurance Procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the PPM aspects of the plant and equipment on site.

•To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all reactive maintenance issues, and Helpdesk requests associated with Building Servicers Maintenance requirements for the contract updating the Helpdesk on a ‘Real Time’ basis. 

•To co-ordinate with visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with aspects of the PPM schedules.

•Uniform must always be worn on site, even during overtime attendance, and must be kept clean and presentable. Uniform must be worn in accordance with current standards of dress.

•Work in full accordance with the requirements of the Lone Worker Policy at all times.

•To ensure that your Timesheet is completed accurately and issued to your manager for approval and processing in accordance with the timescales issued by Vertex Administration Team

•Any unplanned absences are to be notified verbally (voice to voice) to your Line Manager, prior to your expected start time and then confirmed in writing. Any unplanned absences shall be subject to a ‘Back to Work’ interview with your manager. For all absences of this nature you must confirm, prior to your return to work, when you plan to return.

 

The hours of work average 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, flexibility is required to complete the duties associated with the role.
