About the role 

As a lecturer at LCBT, you will be responsible and accountable for managing a number of learners in the capacity of a lecturer, tutor, and assessor. You are there to support and guide learners at all times, ensuring that learning is fun, interesting, relevant, challenging, and appropriate, while also developing their English and Maths skills based on their starting point and individual needs.

About you 

  • You will have a multi-disciplinary background and in-depth knowledge of the best Learning, Teaching, Assessment and Feedback practices or have expert, contemporary industry knowledge. 
  • You will be creative and enthusiastic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • You will have an innovative and open-minded approach to curriculum design and development. 
  • You will have outstanding current knowledge of subject areas. 
  • You will have recent and successful professional experience in the relevant area.
  • You will have teaching experience within an educational setting (ideally Post-16) or willingness to complete a teaching qualification course upon appointment. 
  • You will have ability to communicate with a range of learners on theoretical and practical aspects of the programme and the ability to lead learners to the successful completion of their programme.
  • You will have an understanding of, and commitment to, Safeguarding Children and Young People, Vulnerable Adults, and the Prevent Agenda.
  • In addition, you must be committed to the development and progression of all learners.

Salary: 

Full-Time - From £28,000 to £32,000 per annum (FTE 1)
