Electrical Engineer

Location: Shoreham-by-Sea

Pyroban is part of the Pioneer Safety Group and offers explosion protection solutions for industries operating with hazardous areas, including fully engineered equipment conversions, EX-proof products, EX solutions and EX components.

We are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to strengthen our innovative and highly skilled engineering team. The Electrical Engineer will focus on the application of the Pyroban S6000 gas detection system as part of conversions/solutions for industrial materials handling equipment for UK Ex, ATEX and IEC Ex compliant machines.

This role will be a great fit for an experienced electrical engineer with equipment build experience and/or skills in the electrical design of machines/industrial equipment.

Experience of BOM generation, design of electrical systems and an understanding of electrical/mechanical system integration are essential. You should also be proficient in using AutoCAD Electrical, have strong project management skills and be a self-starter.

Ideally, you’ll have a broad knowledge of electrical and electronic control systems, e.g., industrial controllers, PLC’s, AC invertors, experience of working in a highly regulated environment and a background in fault finding complex electrical systems. Why Pyroban?

The salary for this role is £40,000 to £50,000 and we offer 25 days holiday with the option to purchase additional holiday, 5% employer pension contribution, life assurance, health cash plan, employee assistance programme plus a range of wellbeing initiatives.
